I am so excited for this first gift guide of 2019. These are my top gifts for at home learning and development for the children in your life. Whether you are looking to start creating a list for your little one or needing gift ideas for others, these are some wonderful ideas for you

.

1. Melissa and Doug Paper Rolls - These are a MUST have in our house. We use them for everything! If you follow over on Instagram, I am sure you have seen me cover our tables in white paper or create learning actives for the kids on these. They are inexpensive and last for a long time!

2. Bear Counters - Perfect for color sorting, counting, math skills, and so much more! They even double as an open ended toy when kids make "bear soup" or "bear smoothies" for you. They are the perfect size to pair with some of the tools in number 7 to practice fine motor skills.

3. Melissa & Doug Magnetic Letters & Numbers - Use them on your fridge or make a magnetic chalkboard wall(tutorial coming soon). These are perfect for little hands! We have a set of the numbers and two sets of the letters and use them all the time.

4. Melissa & Doug Shape Sorting Clock - This was a recent find for us. Ava has really been really interested in learning how to tell time and we have been working on a lot of shapes with Camden lately, so this was a no-brainer!

5. Mathlink Cubes - These are wonderful for counting, math skills, color sorting, number memorization(Ava used these to learn my phone number), pattern making, shape identification, fine motor skills and much more! These are a must have for at home learning.

6. Dot Markers - The possibilities are endless with Dot Markers. They are great for a different way to color or you can play Bingo with your little ones to practice number recognition. This set comes with a few activity pages. A few more I like are these, these and these.

7. Helping Hands Find Motor Tools - You don't realize how hard it may be for a little one to use a set of tweezers or a dropper until you watch them try for the first time. This set is great to build fine motor skills and strengthen hand muscles needed for writing.

8. Kwik Stix - These are my FAVORITE! I love to let my kids create, but sometimes hate the mess of paint. These stix are amazing, they are a solid tempera paint that dries in 90 seconds!! We use them for all types of crafts and even for writing activities.

I really hope this holiday guide gave you some great ideas for all the little ones in your life. If you have used these items before or plan to now, I would love to hear about it below in the comments. I love to hear your feedback on these posts so I can continue to provide you with content that you enjoy.

Happy Shopping this Holiday Season!
