Valentine's Day is such a fun holiday to celebrate with kids. There are so many adorable crafts and activities you can do with them to get in the spirit.

Last week I shared 5 of my favorite Valentine's Day Crafts and Activities to do with my kids on my Instagram stories. If you have been following me over there then you know that I love to set up an "after-school" activity for them. This gives my Kindergartner some time to unwind from school and my 3 year old some time to catch up with his big sister.

Hopefully your little ones will enjoy them as much as mine did.

1. Love Bugs

This is an adorable little craft for your kids and perfect for any age. All you need is paint, paper and a sponge. Cut your sponge into a heart shape and have your kids make heart shaped stamps. Add as many legs as you desire and a cute little face.

2. Valentine's Tic Tac Toe

Who doesn't love a fun game of Tic Tac Toe?! Draw up a quick TTT board and cut out some X's and O's or in this case ♥️'s. Play a few games then let them create their own little masterpieces with the board and pieces.

3. Candy Heart Graph

This was our favorite activity this week. I have never "graphed" with the kids before and it was so much fun! All you need for this one is markers or crayons, candy hearts and my free Candy Heart Graph printable! First have your child sort the candy hearts by color, then count them and graph. After you are done, some great questions to ask are:

- What color had the most?

- What color had the least?

- Did any of the colors have the same amount?

4. Heart Wreath

My kids love making things to hang on their bedroom doors, so this one was a no brainer. I cut out a bunch of different colored hearts from card stock(you can use construction paper too).

For the wreath base, I had some extra cardboard cake circles from our gingerbread houses during the holidays. I just used a bowl and an x-acto knife to cut the middle out (you can easily use a paper plate for this and just cut the middle out as well).

We used glue sticks to stick the hearts on the cardboard wreath and painters tape to put them on their doors.

5. Heart Dogs

These came out adorable!! They were an easy, quick and fun craft. Cut out a large heart for the "face" and two smaller hearts for the "ears." We used wiggle googly eyes, but you can always draw eyes on if you don't have any on hand. For the nose and tongue, I just cut these out of construction paper and for the "whiskers," we used sparkly white pompoms. Simple and adorable.

I hope you found a craft or activity to try with your kids! Let me know if you do one or all and how it goes!
