Life is kind of crazy right now. Now more than ever, it is so important to focus on the "fun" and let our little ones express themselves. What better way to do that than through art? I wanted to share some must have supplies that we use on a weekly basis to keep us creative and busy.

Activity books are a great way to keep little hands busy. We use these a lot on road trips, but they are also great for in the house. Grab one for your kid to stay busy with while you hop in the shower or make dinner.

Melissa & Dog Sticker Pad - These reusable pads are great! Have your child create a scene on one of the pages then write or tell a story about it.

Paint by Sticker - We LOVE this twist on paint by number! Ava could sit and do this book for hours. We have a few of these and absolutely love them!

Sticker Puzzles - Here is a another sticker by number book, I love that this one is in a spiral bound book. This one is perfect for an older child.

National Geographic Sticker Activity Book - These activity books are THE BEST! We have been getting them for years. There are so many different types and have some great information in them.

Having a blank canvas is great for letting your little one's imagination create something wonderful. Here are some of our favorite paper options for our art.

Melissa & Doug Easel Paper Rolls - It is no surprise that we love these paper rolls. We use them for pretty much everything! Learning activities, painting, drawing, large coloring pages, ect. Whether you want to use it on an easel, board, table or floor these are great!

Melissa & Doug Drawing Pads - Something new that we are trying are these drawing pads because my kids really love a plain white sheet to create on. This gives them the ability to rip a page out whenever they are wanting to create.

Construction Paper - An obvious choice! You can't go wrong with a big stack of colorful construction paper.

Extra Large White Paper Roll - This is similar to the easel paper rolls, but just larger! This is great to cover your entire table or even to lay down outside for kids to paint on.

Now that we have our paper set, we need tools! Here are some of our favorite:

Kwik Stix - No surprise here! We love, love, love these paint sticks! We have been using them for awhile now and they are great! If you don't love using paint with your kids, these are the perfect alternative!

Paint - I know paint can be messy, but kids love it! Take it outside to make clean up a little easier! This is a great set to last you while.

Paint Cups - These are great to "contain" the paint a little. We use a combination of these, paint palettes and paper plates to hold our paint. The cups are definitely the cleanest and easiest option.

Stencils - Stencils are so much fun for kids! Use paint, markers, or crayons with them on paper. Use chalk with them outside or even tape them up on your windows and let your kids use the paint sticks to draw on the windows!

After being stuck inside so much this Winter, I know all of us are ready to get outdoors with our kids! If it ever stops raining in Georgia, we will be out there everyday! Here are some of our favorite things to keep us busy outside:

Chalk - An obvious answer, but it is a good one. We get new chalk every Spring to keep it fresh and exciting. Stay tuned for a super fun post on how to take your learning activities outside with chalk.

Sidewalk Paint - Messy & Fun! A little twist on just doing chalk! I love the bright neon colors in this pack!

Bubble Gloves - I have loved these for years! They make tons of bubbles and are so much easier for kids than traditional bubbles. A little tip: Pour the bubbles from the bags into a paint tray to make it easier for your kids to dip their gloves in.

Kinetic Sand - Ok this one can be indoor or outdoor, but if you don't want be finding sand for weeks then outdoor is better! Kinetic Sand is super fun to play with and can keep little ones busy for hours.

Ok, that is all of it! I hope you were able to find some good inspiration in this post to start create with your little ones. If you have a favorite art supply or activity, I would to hear it!
