Peppermint Bark

'Tis the season for all the baking! This peppermint bark is easy to make and delicious, it didn't even last 24 hours in my house. If you have little ones that love to bake with you, this is a great recipe to do together! It is so simple and fun for them to see the chocolate melt and crush the candy canes.

For this bark recipe, we used Enjoy Life semi-sweet chocolate morsels and Nestlé Simply Delicious white morsels. For the candy canes, we used a mix of Wholesome Organic Candy Canes and Yum Earth Candy Canes. I like these Candy Canes because they are both allergy friendly and free from food dyes.

You can use an 8x8 pan for this peppermint bark, but you can also use fun holiday shaped cookie cutters. Just lay any cookie cutter down on a piece of parchment paper and pour your melted chocolate into the shape. Top it with your crushed candy canes before putting in the fridge to harden. If you are not a fan of white chocolate then just use the regular chocolate and candy canes. We did a few like this and the kids preferred them over the ones with the white chocolate.
